Ensuring safety on the Hochrindl route.

The L65, also known as the Hochrindl route, connects the municipality of Sirnitz in the Sirnitz Valley with Ebene Reichenau, a community in the upper Gurk Valley, and Deutsch-Griffen in the Griffner Valley. It also provides access to the Alpine and winter sports areas on Hochrindl mountain, making it an important route for tourist traffic.

Due to weather, traffic and other factors, this mountain road needed to be resurfaced, with work carried out from kilometre 4.846 to kilometre 6.800 in the summer of 2019. The road-marking experts at Eisenschutzgesellschaft m.b.H. secured the contract for the road-marking work.

We applied the new road markings in a single day, with an outer border line marked in marking paint class B (MSK B) and in accordance with stringent quality requirements. We used our specialised machine to carry out the pre-marking work. We completed the work swiftly, to a high standard and to the full satisfaction of our customer, the Federal Government of Carinthia.
